I’m a mom to three girls, Sophia, Isabelle and Riley.
I am a stay at home mom who is extremely passionate about health and fitness. I took a break from teaching Kindergarten after my oldest daughter was born to stay home and raise my little girls. This year I just became a Homeschooling mom for the first time. I guess I’m using my degrees after all? 😉
I grew up playing sports my whole life, but it wasn’t until after college that I realized my love for health + fitness and how it’s such a gift. Over the past 8 years of staying home with my daughters I have become a certified personal trainer and taught several fitness classes. I’ve created my own workout class and will soon be offering live virtual workouts that you can take with me. 🙂 I also have received numerous nutrition certifications to better aid my clients with their Health & Fitness goals.
For the last fifteen years I have maintained a healthy lifestyle and have competed in countless races and Iron Girl triathlons. I know what it’s like to have to lose 30 lbs. after having a baby and I have done it three times. In fact, after my youngest was born I found it harder to shed the baby weight as fast as I did with my first. Portions and clean eating really helped me understand the right amount of food for my body. It helped me juggle how much I needed to eat even after having a tough work out (even when I was nursing). The Ultimate Portion Fix and 2B Mindset are both nutrition programs that have helped me get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Not only has it changed me from the outside but I’ve changed on the inside too. Focusing more on my nutrition and working out less has changed my body composition. I actually got better results after having 2 babies than when I was training for triathlons. The nutrition programs helped me and I decided to coach and support others. Helping other people achieve their goals has been so rewarding. Over the years we have created a great tribe of women where we all support each other with our Health + Fitness goals.
Growing up I was overweight and not in shape and even though I played sports the thought of running one mile seemed so overwhelming and hard. But as the years passed I got back into running and really started to enjoy it. I realized it helped lift my mood. I know how hard it can be to lose weight but it is possible and I will be there to support you! The whole process is not just about a number on a scale it’s about supporting and encouraging people.
As a coach I hold monthly support and accountability groups to help others meet their health and fitness goals.
