












Here is what I wrote on my challenge group on Monday: I thought I’d give you all an update on how the Ultimate Reset is going. I started Friday so today is Day 4 for me. I’ve also been more hungry during the day so I added a little more food into the meals. Can you believe I’ve lost 3 lbs though? I am sleeping well! I actually wake up tired and I know I’m sleeping soundly, I am thinking that will wake not be waking up tired soon though. So, yay for good sleep! I have been a little low on energy which is to be expected the first few days. I wake up early and never sleep in so I did rest about an hour Saturday and Sunday. No shame in that, right? I think naps are fantastic and if you can squeeze one in, go for it! Rest is good! I’m not really working out during the reset. I plan to do some yoga and maybe a little modified PiYo and walking. The reset is about healing your body and “re-seting” yourself. It’s not meant to be paired with a workout program. So, I’m going to enjoy that part. 🙂 I think with the half marathon training, my grad class and just the busyness with Spring it’s been a little full of activities over here. So, I think this is coming at a great time. I look forward to sharing more of my journey with you and how things change. Stay tuned!
At Day 8, I continued the 3 pound weight loss. I can see a difference in how my clothes fit, woo hoo! I actually woke up 40 minutes before my alarm and was able to fall back asleep. That’s a huge non-scale victory for me because I’ve struggled with sleep in the past. Yay! I also feel overall calmer. I haven’t drank coffee since I started and I’m doing well without caffeine. I’m actually enjoying my dandelion tea, it has a bitter taste like coffee.
What is the Ultimate Reset?
The 21 Day Reset is a cleanse & detox program scientifically designed to reset your body’s balance. It’s a 3-‐week program that is done in “1 week” phases.
I just finished the first Phase and now I’m starting the second phase. I’ll share about Phase 2 next week:
* Phase I – RECLAIM. This is the first week where you will rehydrate your body and reactivate the slow cell function. You will also bring your body’s PH (level of acidity) back toward a healthier, alkaline (non-‐ acidic) state. You slowly remove the dairy and red meat from your diet and allow your body to recharge itself in a more natural way. You begin to “RECLAIM” your health!
